What will you do?
As Marketing Automation and Outbound Channels Manager, you will be responsible for all triggered outbound communication to customers. A large part of your role will be the use of the Adobe Campaign Standard platform to build and orchestrate outbound marketing activities across the customer journey, to enhance the overall customer experience. Another key part of your role will be closely working together with the Customer Journey Manager, UX Manager, the Customer Insights & Personalisation team and other channel managers to ensure we deliver a coherent customer experience.
Some of your key responsibilities:
• Be responsible for all B2C Customer Life Cycle communication, including travel related communication, loyalty and all other triggered outbound messages
• Design and build (HTML) templates and components for outbound messages using the best practices of digital cross device experience – all in line with the Stena Line brand
• Act as Solution Lead for the continuous development and utilization of marketing automation tools, including Adobe Campaign Standard and Journey Orchestration in the Adobe Experience Platform
• Enhance and develop the existing Marketing Automation strategy and roadmap to ensure highly relevant and seamless customer experiences
• Educate/support other teams and local functions in their journey to further leverage opportunities in outbound channels to deliver on engagement and business KPIs, such as CLV and NPS
• Drive the ongoing optimization of existing customer journey communication and tactics, in close cooperation with the Customer Insights & Personalization Team
• Set up, maintain and optimize automated communication journeys tailored to various segments and behaviours, including past purchases, site visitors, loyalty members, newsletter subscribers etc. utilizing our marketing automation platform
• Monitor and optimize email deliverability rates of the IP and Sender addresses used by Stena by adapting the latest email spam and blacklisting rules and best practices. Provide guidelines and assistance to internal functions to comply within this complex area
• Develop and manage the use of analytics tools such as, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, UTM tags etc. in close collaboration with the Analytics team
Who are you?

We’re looking for someone with a keen interest in marketing automation, wanting to develop with us in that area and take things to the next level. As a person you are detail-oriented, thorough in your way of doing your work and always organised in your tasks. You enjoy working in a broad role where you get to combine your technical and creative skills. Your excellent communication skills will be key in this role and you are comfortable communicating with internal colleagues such as marketers, analysts and other stakeholders as well as external partners such as agencies.
The must-haves:
• Experience of working in a Marketing Automation tool and developing and implementing trigger-based marketing campaigns.
• Good knowledge of programming languages such as HTML and CSS
• Experience of A/B testing and analytical tools
• Creative skills and experience of Photoshop or similar image editing tool
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
If you have experience working with Adobe Campaign Standard, knowledge and understanding of Javascript or working with cross-channel marketing campaigns, that’s all a big plus!
