H&M Brand is currently present in more than 200 stores in 14 markets via Franchise, located in the Middle East, North Africa, Israel, Southeast Asia and Central America. We launched our first franchise driven HM.com franchise site in 2018 and several markets have been added ever since – with many more to come. The H&M Brand has a team supporting our partners based at the Head Office in Stockholm. In this team we work to create the best conditions for our partners’ in order to help them drive store and online sales. We travel to the markets to find commercial opportunities and to secure our Brand is perceived in the best possible way.


Job Description


In the role as Marketing & Communications Manager, you will deliver added customer value and increased sales by enabling brand growth while protecting the brand in all franchise markets. In addition, you will support the franchise markets to develop a strong strategic way of working across all marketing, communications & PR activities and make them relevant to the franchise markets’ conditions. You will also work closely with relevant stakeholders within the franchise partners’ organizations as well as global functions and you will be responsible for securing the implementation of global strategies and ways of working while adding a franchise/regional perspective to grow customer base.
Your role also includes:
Leading franchise partner colleagues to deliver an omni world class customer experience and strong brand in accordance with H&M brand DNA
Ensure teams stay focused on the vision for the franchise function, delivering both long- and short-term desired activities and results
Set targets for brand growth and relevant KPIs together with the franchise partners and the franchise function (brand tracker, market share, funnel strategy etc.)
Clearly communicate the vison and the three-year business plan to franchise partners´ and other relevant stakeholders to drive growth
Follow up on the results as well as on the marketing investments with each franchise partner in connection with strategic planning
Requires some long distance travels to our different franchise partners



Qualifications
To be successful in the role as marketing & communications manager, we believe that you are an experienced manager that has a proven track record of delivering customer centric results through creating excellent communications, media, and store activities. You also have the ability to lead and align stakeholders in other teams to drive end results and you have a proven track record of delivering strategies and solutions that drive business results. In addition, you are analytical and have the ability to build strategies and action plans to meet goals and you have great pedagogical and inspirational communication skills.
We’d love to meet someone who:
Has a minimum of 5+ years of experience working with marketing and/or communications as well as working as a manager
You have a degree in marketing, communications or equivalent
Previous experience from leading marketing and/or communications teams in a competitive environment
Knowledge of disciplines within marketing, communications, data analytics and have executed 360 activities in media
Have experience from working in roles and companies with customer, marketing, communications, and sales responsibilities.
International experience from leading other managers
