Marketing Communications Specialist

Sandvik Mining and Construction (SMC) is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a world-leading supplier of equipment and complete solutions for the mining and construction industries, with machines, hard metal tools, service and technical solutions for the extraction and crushing of rock and minerals.The global Marketing Communications Organization within SMC, is responsible for the global marketing communications strategy, brand management and all global marketing communications channels.Most of the work is conducted in project form, together with the regions and global customer segments.Hence we now need to strengthen the current team with a Marketing Communications Specialist with strong project management skills.Key performance areas In your role as Marketing Communications Specialist, you will work closely with representatives from the regions and from the global segments to manage projects within all areas in Marketing Communications.Some of the current projects you will be responsible for are: -Implementation of exhibition guidelines and way of working globally -Development and implementation of Dealer Marketing Communication guidelines -Support in developing regional marketing communications plans In addition to this, you will contribute to the overall marketing communications team with project management and other marketing communications related tasks as needed.You will be based at the SMC Head Office in Sandviken but you should be prepared to travel.Your profile To be successful you need to have a solid previous experience of managing global projects.You have a degree in Marketing and/or Communications and have several years of working experience in a global environment.You will be working with people from different cultures and different backgrounds and interests; hence it is important that you are teamoriented as well as peopleoriented. The ideal candidate should be a doer, used to working with several projects at the same time and getting things done.You should be willing to take on new challenges with a positive attitude.The corporate language is English, which is why the ability to speak and write English fluently is a prerequisite.Other languages would be an advantage.
