Do you want to market Ryobi®, one of the world’s biggest brands within power tools and outdoor power equipment? As our new Marketing Coordinator at the HQ in Copenhagen, you are going to nurture our brand in the Swedish market, within which we are leaders, and help us grow in the Baltics where we have huge potential and much growth ahead of us!
Techtronic Industries Nordic (TTI) is a well-consolidated international company, which markets and sells a wide range of power tools, outdoor power equipment and accessories under the market-leading brands Milwaukee®, AEG® and Ryobi®. Our end-users are typically professional users and quality-conscious do-it-yourself people.
We are an expanding business with a constant stream of new, exciting and innovative products. Our growth within TTI is moving fast, and we are therefore looking for another committed Swedish-speaking marketing coordinator for our marketing team at our Nordic headquarters in Copenhagen. You will primarily support our customers and sales staff in the Baltic countries of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, but you will also perform everyday marketing tasks targeted towards the Swedish market for our Ryobi® brand.

In collaboration with your colleagues, you will influence and develop the marketing department and the services we provide. We are looking for a colleague who wants to contribute to the coordination of our marketing activities in the Nordic countries, as part of a Nordic team.

You will oversee 3 main areas with plenty of responsibility
You will get the primary responsibility for planning and following up on an array of exciting marketing activities e.g., for our distributors. Among other things, this includes helping to drive and implement Ryobi®’s campaign activities. This also means that you will participate in conferences and kick-offs from time to time, and you should therefore expect approx. 20 travel days per year. In your day-to-day work, your role will be divided equally between 3 areas of responsibility:
One of your main tasks is supporting the sales teams. In collaboration with the Sales Director and our sales force on the road, you assist in the service of our distributors with pictures, copy writing, sales and product materials, etc.
In addition, you will use your creative skills to create graphic design projects, including preparing a selection of marketing material for distributors, primarily in Adobe InDesign – e.g., brochures, banners, flyers, advertisements, and display material.
You will get the responsibility of proof reading and translating our website, a variety of marketing material, product descriptions and press releases from English to Swedish, as well as coordinating translations to the Baltic languages. Even though we work with technical products, you must not let this discourage you – since our target audience is the consumer market, we always try to make our texts understandable for all readers.
Who are you?
You are a strong marketing profile with a desire to learn, and you thrive with a wide array of tasks. You excel in a workday with varied tasks, where some are solved independently and others in collaboration with colleagues from different countries. You will get your own areas of responsibility, so it is important that you are driven, enterprising, flexible and proactive.
More specifically, it is central to us that you have a degree in marketing or communication and an interest in developing your graphic design skills (Adobe). You also thrive in using a simple language in both speech and writing.
We imagine that Swedish is your native tongue, that you are fluent in English (corporate language) and able to get by in “Scandinavian”, seeing as we are a workplace with many different languages represented – the most important thing is that you feel comfortable in translating from English to Swedish.
