What’s your mission?
You will work in the global marketing team that consists of 9 colleagues and you will report to Director of Marketing. Your focus will be on the European market where you primarily work with three different brands. You will work from Snap-On's office in Gothenburg, where your marketing colleagues are spread out in different places around the USA and Europe. The team has different knowledge and experience and takes on each assignment with a lot of energy.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the marketing team's efforts to conduct marketing campaigns. This includes researching marketing trends and creating marketing campaign content for print and online media ads and helping to conduct marketing events for the organization.
Your first time at Snap-On will involve planning and conducting 3 different trade fairs, which means travel within Europe.
Examples of tasks:
• Support the part of Snap-On that works with tradeshows
• Develop relationships with European publications / magazines
• Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing
• Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies
• Responsible for coordinating print and digital advertising. Supply creative direction for advertising and direct marketing that align with program objectives.
• Responsible for monthly newsletters
Who are you?
We are looking for you who want to work globally and have a good ability to build relationships with other people internally as well as externally. You have a strong problem-solving ability and ensure that every task you undertake is performed correctly. You are a committed person who works towards different goals together with your team to bring them forward with a positive attitude. Furthermore, you are happy to take initiative in your work and like to work both independently as well as in a team.
Furthermore, we see that you have:
• previous experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role with at least 5 years of solid experience.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or communication
• Advanced experience in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Advanced experience with the entire Microsoft Office suite
• knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing and social media marketing
• excellent written and communication skills along with presentation skills
• very good knowledge of English and Swedish
It is an advantage if you have a background in vehicle or technical service. It is also an big plus if you have very good knowledge of German as you will have contact with the German market.
