We are looking for an experienced, native Swedish Copywriter with a high proficiency in English – preferably bilingual - to become part of our international localization team. This team is part of the global Brand and Creative Marketing department of Cognizant and supports the roll out of global and local online marketing multi-channel campaigns and the localization of cognizant.com in our core markets.
You will work with a worldwide organization, your peers in other countries, liaise with web, technical and in country marketing teams to create, review, translate, adapt, improve and localize digital copy/content. Reporting to the head of localization the aim is to present Cognizant’s offerings in the best possible way to each market, improve campaign effectiveness and increase time to market for translated content on web and campaigns. You will also help to select the most relevant case studies and thought leadership content for translation and help with writing web content for local offerings.
In order to use the tools for translation and web publication you will need to be tech savvy. In cases where we still use a translation agency, you will provide feedback, update glossaries and improve translations.
About the role
Member of the Localization team, trans-creating and translating global marketing content from English into Swedish.
Interact with local stakeholders to review, agree translations and create content for local web pages when needed.
Use the translation management system (Smartling) to follow and support the translation workflow (e.g. answer queries from agency translators).
Use the Web content management system (Adobe Experience manager) to leverage the translations and make updates to pages directly.
Work with the other internal teams to understand upcoming content/page updates, implement overall site changes, test and fix translated pages (e.g. shorten copy).
Optimization: Make SEO improvements for target keywords in pages based on data from SEO tools and Search data, improve page content, UX and user journeys based on findings in Click behavior and Analytics tools
Requirements
Minimum 3 Years of experience as a Digital Copywriter/Journalist for (or affinity with) IT Services in your native language
Profound knowledge of English
Familiar with creating translated content, e.g. articles, display advertising, web copy
Knowledge of web content management systems ideally Adobe Experience Manager
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledge of Smartling or other translation management tools is a plus.
Familiar with Workfront, Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Teams.
Advantage: Experience with search engine optimization and optimizing user journeys.
Willing & Ability to work from home with remote teams in different time zones.
Passion for and experience with online Marketing and Brand communication is desirable.
