Your future challenge
We are looking to strengthen the marketing and sales department at our head office in Sweden with a marketing and sales director. You will be responsible for marketing and sales, as well as business development, towards both business to business customers such as lead system integrators and OEM vehicle manufacturers as well as end user customers on selected international markets.
We offer an independent role with clear and defined responsibilities, measured against personal and overall performance, in a growing and agile market.
As marketing director you will:
* have complete order intake responsibility on selected markets,
* meet and discuss with end users to collect information of future needs,
* establish strong long-lasting relationships with selected customers,
* be able to act on own initiatives,
* be able to plan and execute business from first contact to contract signing on your own and in co-operation with others,
* have a close cooperation with other functions within Barracuda and other business and market areas within Saab
* be responsible to document all your business activities in specific tools, quotation letters, sales prize calculations, agreements, contractual documents according to Saabs Winning Business Process,
* report to Head of Marketing & Sales,
* travel extensively internationally and have to be prepared to be away from home periods of time,
* be measured on own performance
Todays demands
You are result oriented, have strong business focus and are always looking for improvements and finding new opportunities. You have energy and passion for achievements, coupled with demonstrated marketing and sales skills and social competence. You are a positive and confident communicator able to influence a wide range of people.
We assume you have an academic degree in either engineering, marketing or equivalent. You must be able to speak and write English fluently and knowledge of any additional languages, for example Arabic, French, Spanish or German, is a an advantage. A driver´s license is required.

Dynamics, a business area of Saab, offers ground combat weapons, missile systems, torpedoes, sensor systems, unmanned underwater vehicles and signature management systems for armed forces as well as remotely operated vehicles and security systems for the offshore industry and nuclear power plants.
Saab Barracuda is worldwide market leader in advanced Signature Management solutions for protection against detection and identification. We have customers and representatives in 50 countries and subsidiaries in France, India and the United States. The Swedish office is located in Gamleby in the municipality of Västervik. In our global marketing team we have ten people working today.
