ABOUT THE ROLE:
The SaaS-company Avinode Group has a suite of global digital B2B services for business aviation and is now looking to find their new Marketing Director. The company is constantly striving to close identified gaps in the market by creating innovative and essential tools for modern business aviation. They are doing so with three platforms, Avinode, Schedaero and Paynode.
We are looking for someone with entrepreneurial values to take responsibility for all three brands as well as Avinode Group. The organization is big on making data driven decisions in order to have meaningful client interactions, but also work with the right type of marketing activities for each business area. Analyzing client behavior, competitors and the market will thus be an important part of what you do.
You will be heading up a marketing team of seven with responsibility for all marketing, and communication activities through various channels. Preparing annual marketing plans, calendar of events and setting the marketing budget. Another key element will be working closely with stakeholders such as Product Directors and Customer Success Directors. Avinode Group being a dynamic company will have you being involved in developing strategies along with other stakeholders in order to make sure the full SaaS life cycle is managed correctly and that the goals are achieved.
In summary you will:
Lead and manage the marketing department
Plan and execute marketing strategies for Avinode Group offers
Oversee all aspects of the brand image and communication on a global level
Continually review changes to the market/consumer trends/competitors and adjust accordingly
Manage and measure marketing campaign costs
Manage marketing KPIs
Manage all external marketing suppliers
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
We are looking for someone with a proven track record from similar roles in a B2B company without strict specialist teams working in silos. You have to be able to get involved in the daily operations, supporting and pointing the team in the right direction when questions arise.
Strong project- and people management – recruiting, supervising and mentoring the team
Great communication skills with ability to portray a clear vision getting management onboard
Data analysis skills with competence enough to generate valuable conclusions
Previous managerial expertise, preferably from both in-office and remote work
English on a native speaker level (both written and spoken)
Experience from bringing Enterprise B2B products to market
