Nasdaq is looking for a Marketing Lead to join our Marketing and Communications organisation, supporting our European Market Services business in Stockholm.

The European Market Services business is based in the Nordics, Baltics and UK. You will be leading for implementing strategic marketing plans to support the business mission to provide leading trading, technology, data and analytics solutions to help companies and investors succeed in the capital markets.


Your Responsibilities Are


As our new Marketing Lead, you will be leading on marketing initiatives to improve the financial literacy of investors to increase trading volumes on Nasdaq exchanges across Europe, mainly focusing on the Nordics and Baltics.


Launch and improve the Nasdaq Academy, an investor education program, to raise awareness and generate subscribers by using a wide range of marketing channels and techniques


Develop marketing plans and deliver campaigns under the Retail Taskforce initiative to increase the financial literacy of retail investors


Work with the product management team and third parties to develop concise content (video, thought leadership, newsletters, events, blogs, and more) to support marketing programs


Release new products using 360-degree marketing campaigns (events, email campaigns, social media, webinars, podcasts, videos, etc.)


Work with partners and associations on joint marketing initiatives to improve financial literacy and trading of retail investors


Utilize digital marketing tools, including email, social media, SEO/PPC, look-alike marketing, geographical and behavioural marketing


Track marketing's return on investment on trade volume, sales pipeline and business unit growth, as well as supervising marketing KPIs, such as awareness and engagement metrics


Lead marketing budget to efficiently improve ROI and propose recommendations on campaign efficiency, including partnerships, media budget and allocations.


Subtly explain complex or critical information; working to build consensus


Actively seek ambitious assignments and is genuinely excited by exploring new opportunities to improve marketing


Work closely with both the design team and web team, located in the US, as well as other internal departments, to take projects from start to finish


What We Expect


A degree in Marketing, Business, English or another relevant field


7+ years of marketing experience with a strong understanding of modern marketing strategies, including marketing technologies, campaign management and digital marketing


Experience in educating audiences and content development as well as delivering joint marketing programmes


Robust analytical approach with the ability to interpret and understand different marketing metrics


Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken


Good understanding of primary financial language


Strong executive presence and comfortable delivering information to senior executives


It Will Be Conducive If You Have


Marketing automation technology tools, i.e., Marketo, Salesforce, etc.
