Our goal at Mentimeter is to make presentations more engaging and presenting easier. We are in search of a Marketing Manager who specializes in product marketing, user activation, and retention, to join our modern, friendly, and diverse SaaS company based here in Stockholm.
Your challenge will help our ever-growing pool of over 200 million enthusiastic users become expert presenters and help them to view presentations as a more enjoyable and inclusive experience.
You will lead your team of expert marketers in a wide range of projects, campaigns, and experiments that increase user engagement, adoption, and retention. Likewise, you will support them in meeting product usage and retention goals.

About the team:
You will join as the lead of the Activation and Engagement team within the Marketing Department. This team focuses on increasing the adoption and usage of the Mentimeter core product through educating users and transforming them into confident presenters who come back and use Mentimeter again and again. The team is a cross-functional one consisting of content creators, a product marketer and an automation specialist. The team works closely with the Product Department, Data Team as well as the entire Marketing Department.
Role responsibilities:
Lead a team of marketers who focus on activation and retention metrics which includes expertise such as product marketing, user education and content marketing.
Improve current viral loops and find new viral loops that promote increased product usage.
Collaborate closely with the Product Department and central Data Team to find new opportunities to increase product usage and market new features.
Provide project overviews, progress and results reporting.
Use data-driven analysis to develop hypotheses and build an experimentation pipeline to improve activation and retention metrics continuously.
Measure campaign and tactics delivery and create reports against core activation and retention metrics and key results.
Manage the tech stack and tracking that impacts the adoption and usage of Mentimeter.
Conduct market research, pre-studies and experiments to evaluate potential business impact and build business cases.
The place of work is at the Mentimeter office in Stockholm, and we can support re-location within the EU.
We believe you have:
At least 7 years of relevant work experience within the digital marketing field, specifically within Product Marketing and User Lifecycles Marketing.
Proven hands-on leadership experience where you have been leading high-performing teams, preferably in fast-growing companies.
Demonstrated experience of successfully rolling out product go-to-market strategies.
Demonstrated ability to turn analysis into actionable insights and clear recommendations.
Demonstrated experience of successful stakeholder & project management.
Knowledge of how the marketing tech stack enables automated and scalable marketing initiatives.
Experience from working with some of the, or equivalent, tools in our marketing tech stack (e.g. Mixpanel, Intercom, Split.io, Customer.io, Metabase).
It's a bonus if you have:
Experience of working in a product-first company with a product first go-to-market.
Experience from working with SaaS products (Slack and Dropbox as examples) across several markets.
Not required:
You don’t have to know Swedish (we are an English-first organization, all your work will be in English, and the Mentimeter team currently boasts over 28 different nationalities!).
