Marketing Manager Marine – Volvo Penta
As a Marketing Manager, your role is create valuable, relevant, and consistent communication in order to drive profitable customer action. Your responsibility is to ensure that Volvo Penta is represented positively and accurately to external stakeholders with the marine segments, leisure and commercial. You will analyze business needs and with a creative mind plan, execute and follow-up effective marketing activities in line with our global communication strategy.
Located in Gothenburg, Sweden, you will report to the SVP of Volvo Penta Brand, Communication and Marketing.
Responsibilities Marketing Manager
As part of our marine segment team you will support the marine segments with pro-active, business focused brand and product marketing activities in line with Volvo Penta marine strategies
Plan, create, execute and follow-up on an annual aligned cross functional communication plan and messaging board
Strengthen and protect the Volvo Penta brand through pro- and re-active marketing
Work in close collaboration within the marine business unit as well as the Brand, Communication & Marketing team
Competencies
Ability to analyze business challenges and formulate effective marketing solutions linking strategy to tactics.
Experience of marketing-activities; analysis, planning, execution and follow-up.
A creative mind, with the ability to take your own initiative and to think outside the box.
Stakeholder understanding, analyzing their needs and designing customize messages for multiple channels.
Deep understanding of both the digital (and traditional) marketing landscape. Understands content marketing and its benefits.
A trusted and respected marketing advisor routinely sought for advice.
Experience in digital sales is a merit.
Fluency in written and spoken English – other languages is a merit.
