Our business has grown fast in the last few years because we put all our focus into building our two snow brands, Dope (https://www.dopesnow.com/) and MONTEC (https://www.montecwear.com/). We have come far, but to drive our brands to the next level, we’re now looking for an experienced marketing leader to step in and take care of our marketing team and the operations. This will give way for the creative side of marketing to take our branding to something new.
WHAT WE SEE IN THE ROLE 🗺️
In the short term, your primary focus will be to bring an experienced and objective view to Ridestore and our two brands. Working closely with Dan Stremel (https://www.linkedin.com/in/daniel-stremel-688521aa/), you will establish the best possible working relationship together from day one to lead Ridestore’s brand and marketing efforts, where you'll be focusing on the team and operations and Dan traversing over toward the brand and the innovation side.
You will also play a crucial role in streamlining marketing workflows and processes and introducing new and effective ways of working. In collaboration with the marketing team, you will review and improve the current marketing strategy to ensure it aligns with our goals, target audience, positioning, messaging, and tactics. This includes streamlining our manual processes, improving our content workflows, and making sure the content production team knows what's working best.
You will be key in building strong and lasting partnerships with other teams to ensure seamless alignment and support for marketing initiatives. We want you to increase transparency and communication within the marketing team and see to it that everyone is informed and understands our direction.
In the long term, you lead the best and happiest marketing team around. A team that works seamlessly with the rest of the crew guided by you through a visionary and hands-on leadership style that's all about change and empowerment. You have led the charge in developing a well-functioning monthly marketing strategy review process about performance and data.
And by now, we got the organizational setup pretty dialed, with all brand and marketing functions housed within the marketing team. You have taken the team to the next level, refined and improved the setup, and empowered them to be efficient and creative. You and Dan have found the magic in combining marketing operations and creative work to drive our brands on an exciting journey.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 🔍
Ideally, you have worked with D2C brands, but more importantly, you have experienced firsthand a fast-paced and changing growth environment with engaged owners. You hopefully have experience with asynchronous ways of working as we’re a digital organization using Asana as a shared workspace, and Slack for culture, fast comms, and fun. This means we have a flexible environment where you can focus, but it demands a lot from everyone as you need to be the driver of your work.

- Tools and process research: identify and implement the most effective long-term solutions through internal and external research
- Targeted customers segments: segmented and targeted audiences
- Digital marketing campaigns: leveraged digital channels to reach and engage target audiences
- Strategic marketing plans: developed and executed marketing strategies that drove business growth

WHERE YOU’LL DO IT 🌍
It's a full-time role, remotely. We want you in the CET zone plus/minus 2 hours as most of our teams are based in Europe. Ridestore has been remote since 2014, except for some people who work in Gothenburg, our only office. This means there is an office to visit and work from when needed.
