Marketing Performance Specialist

As a Marketing Performance Specialist, you will get the opportunity to work cross-functionally at a global level, support IKEA marketing teams around the world, bring together multiple sources of data to inform business decisions, and be recognized as a critical point person for marketing performance analysis within the global Marketing team. How to strengthen the IKEA brand and how to use the information to create and scale strong marketing tactics and engaging solutions would be two of your main interests. You get motivated by solving complex business challenges and have a great curiosity for identifying learnings from activities.
To be successful in this role, you will be tracking delivery against content and engagement goals in order to help performance across multiple channels and across countries.[KCC1] You are comfortable working with different kinds of data and have proven advanced training in marketing, communications, business management, data analytics or equivalent. For at least 5 years, you have been working with Marketing, Strategic Planning, Customer Engagement, Media Performance or Data Analytics. You confidently with both quantitative and qualitative data and can easily convey a message to business stakeholders. This includes compiling and deriving business insights from multi-sourced performance data, as well as visualizing learnings and making impactful presentations. Preferably, you have a strong knowledge about the IKEA brand, concept, culture, values, and ways of working. Last but not least, you are fluent in English (both written and in verbal).
YOUR RESPONSIBILITES
As a Marketing Performance Specialist, you will drive brand positioning and growth contribution of marketing by leading specific tasks and projects related to IKEA marketing frameworks. You will act as a subject matter expert and support the countries, keeping them informed about the performance resources and learnings to encourage competence development. Together with collaborating teams, you will evaluate marketing activities, identify strong performance to replicate and scale up best practice.
More in detail, you will:
· Collaborate with markets to ensure prioritized metrics in our marketing performance goal tree are leveraged to track and optimize the impact marketing activities have on building a strong IKEA brand & multichannel business
· Lead specific tasks and projects in the analysis of marketing performance for global and local teams
· Ground marketing performance indicators in appropriate technology and data platforms to operationalize marketing KPIs
· Execute specific global post-activity performance evaluations, sharing key findings with stakeholders to improve quality of content and media development
· Undertake ad hoc analysis and recommendations for common Ingka activities
· Work across functions within Ingka Group and in good collaboration with other IKEA businesses
This role is based in Malmö and you will report to Marketing Performance Leader.
