We are currently looking for a Marketing Project Manager to an exciting opportunity with our client Samsung! This is a consultancy opportunity, a 2-year contract starting as soon as possible with a great possibility for an extension.

Job Description:

The overall objective is to grow brand preference, create desire and consideration of our HA (Home Appliance) and IT products to help Samsung remain the most innovative and consumer focused brand in the Nordic region. You are a highly important part of the wider marketing team, working with a 360 degree mindset. Your most important job is to take our overall marketing strategy and turn it in to a retail strategy for visibility, communication and display at our retailers. You are driven by the wish to maximize impact of everything you deliver, to ensure that the retail experience helps convert consumers in to buying Samsung products. And you do this through excellent agency and budget management. Connecting the retail experience and communication with the full consumer journey through digital ATL and channel campaigns is something you are used to, and you see this seamless collaboration as something we should perfect.

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop the Nordic retail experience strategy in alignment with Nordic marketing strategy
• Implement and maintain Samsung store displays and in-store communication with the objective of enhancing brand presence and increasing sell out.
• Set the in-store communications (POS) strategy, and align strategy with sales and retailers
• Support the sell-in of new fixtures displays and communication to retailers, as well as develop the flooring plan to ensure best position and visibility in store.
• Responsible for full lifecycle of in-store material and displays: design, production, installation and maintenance.
• Responsible for display roll-outs, maintenance and quality control of the installed base of store displays and POS material, across all channels in the Nordics.
• Establish how-to-guides for field force and 3rd party agencies.
• Ensure strong ROI on all display and POS deliveries
• Responsible for setting objectives and KPIs, and follow-up display and POS implementations
• Identify analysis needs based on available POS data, participate in analysis and define conclusions and actions.
• Own retail display and communications budget with the aim of saving costs and increasing ROI

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of marketing project management, preferably within retail field or in-store communication
• Confident and skilled at marketing project management with proven track record of delivering projects with multiple stakeholders, tight deadlines and with strong ROI
• Proven track record of setting plans based on overall marketing strategy and aligning plans with both internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in working with retail stores, with a good understanding of retail and shopper behaviour during the shopping journey
• Proven track record of identifying and applying consumer insights successfully to create a strong consumer experience
• Strong experienced in leading agencies: managing projects, budget and delivery
• Confident experience in budget management and optimizing ROI of all projects
• Strong business acumen and experience in working closely with sales teams to grow market position and drive sales
• Creative problem-solver with a natural drive to see solutions instead of problems, who will live our brand ethos of Do what you can´t
• A bold and ambitious but humble marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, highly changeable environment without losing motivation or focus on the end-goal

•Language: Swedish and English (fluent).
