As a Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening ABB Marine & Ports’ position as the leading supplier of terminal automation and electrification solutions for container and cargo terminals. You will be part of BL Ports management team.


Your challenges
Manage marketing, communications plans and budgets for BL Ports globally, doing so in collaboration with sales and product management.
Drive the development of value propositions and content production.
Develop and implement key messages, images, tools and marketing material.
Optimize Port’s presence in online channels including media, social media and on the web in order to reach the target audience.
Cooperate closely with Marine & Ports marcom team to ensure marketing and communications plans implementation across applicable countries.
Identify opportunities and develop content for media in cooperation with global communication manager.
Manage conferences and customer events.
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of marketing and communication initiatives.
Ensure easy access and internal awareness of the messages, also that all communications are consistent and in compliance with company brand principles.

Your background
5+ years of professional work experience in marketing and communications roles, preferably international.
Experience from developing/implementing marketing and communication plans.
Strong content production experience.
Ability to translate technical features to commercial benefits.
Thrive as a strong networker and communicator who has ability to work independently and is a self-starter.
Experience in using Salesforce and Pardot/Marketing Automaton is beneficial but not a requirement.
Marine & Ports industry knowledge is beneficial but not a requirement.
You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, both in English and Swedish alike.
