Are you a social person with a great interest in sustainability marketing, creating marketing plans and content? Do you want to be a part of the International Telecom Company´s success? In the role of Marketing Specialist, you get the chance to do just that, and at the same time have a very exciting and developing job. We are now looking for a consultant, an initially 8-month period starting in September, with the possibility of extension.
About the role
In this role, you will primarily work towards and manage the company´s vision to different stakeholders.
Sustainability issues will be pursued independently internally and (primarily) externally. You can write and create content by your self, in your team of 10 people and together with extent agencies. In the role, which is both operational and strategic you will drive already initiated projects with deadline 2022 and planning for 2023. This service is based at the Swedish office in Kista, where you must be at least one day a week and the rest of the days are flexible.
Job Description:
• Lead, develop & deliver, in conjunction with Sustainability Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), a thought leadership plan to support the strategic narrative of ´Energy & Sustainability´.
• Drive the content direction with the Integrated Marketing team to ensure that the Energy & Sustainability assets are built and launched at the right times and delivered through the right campaigns to the right audience.
• Deliver content assets which help realise the new Vision, Purpose & Value -in partnership with ER & S&CR leads.
• Liaise and partner with GF technology on the development of CTO sponsored assets which help support and drive the ´energy & sustainability´ narrative.
• Direct the development and realise opportunities for case studies in conjunction with S&CR, the MAs and BAs. Taking ownership of the project management and delivery through External Relations (ER) & Integrated Marketing teams.
• Be the sustainability content SPOC for all related blogs, ensuring that the relevant Sustainability lead has the ability to input and that a thorough/fact-based review is conducted.
• Editorially support, when necessary, the External Relations Activation team with content for communications, report launches and events.
• Provide bi-weekly input on the development of the UVP Networks narrative – embedding the strategic narrative where appropriate.
• Take initiative to build strong relationships between Group Function External relations, Integrated Marketing and the Sustainability teams.
• Contribute to regular reporting on the narrative performance – providing updates to S&CR and the BA Heads of Marketing.
• Align & foster relationships regularly with BAs on the development of upcoming and new assets which can help support the narrative.
About you:
• Selfmotivated
• Fluent in American English
• Journalistic experiance is a plus
• Content creation is a plus
• Passionate about sustainability questions such as climate action and decarbonization
Required Competence
• 8+ years experiance of Marketing
• Owner of a sustainability narrative
• Strong influencing & relationship skills. Must be able to influence without the need for direct authority
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
