Marketing Specialist to Global Child Forum

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist, to create value for our organization by strengthening our marketing through, among other things, smart packaging and marketing of our value proposition to our target group. This is a new position in the organization hence it will require a seasoned marketeer who is a self leader and has experience from packaging complex services and offerings to multinational companies in an international environment. Our target audience for these various offerings (reports, events, tools, guides, training programs, data, etc.) are the 2000 most influential companies in the world; to be more precise, the SDG2000, as well as the global financial and investor community.

You will play an important role in our team consisting of 15 employees with different competencies and backgrounds. The role will be part of the team responsible for developing, prioritizing and evaluating our Product & Service portfolio. The role will also work closely with our Head of Communications, our Digital Communications Manager, our Research Manager and our Business Development Manager, and reports to the Head of External Relations & Engagement.

This is as a temporary position for at least 12 months with the possibility of prolongment.

Responsibilities

Develop and own Global Child Forum’s Marketing Strategy
Together with the Products & Services team, develop go-to-market plans to drive awareness and adoption of key offerings, tools and solutions. This means deciding on which offerings should be communicated and marketed to which companies and when, working closely with the Research Manager and the Business Development Manager
Collaborate cross-functionally with everyone in the organization but still independently and hands-on drive packaging, launches and campaigns, and follow up and analyse impact and effect
Collect data and insights from our target group in order to constantly adapt and improve our offerings
Utilize our CRM-system (SuperOffice) to collect and document data and insights from our partners and target companies
Work closely with the Head of Communications to produce key messages across our channels based on data and insights
Stay abreast of market trends


About you

To succeed in the role, you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field of study and 10+ years of experience in marketing and sales of products, services or major events. You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and understand the strategies and priorities of the business and apply this knowledge to achieve the objectives. As a person, you are enthusiastic and positive and can collaborate with different stakeholders on all levels. You are curious, innovative and brave. Communication and marketing are an important part of us in succeeding with the Global Child Forum's continuous journey and will be crucial for driving customer and business value in a fast moving industry with new behaviors.

You are used to working purposefully with processes and projects. Based on data-driven marketing strategies and business knowledge, you contribute with advice within your area of expertise to increase efficiency and quality and you have a drive to constantly develop yourself and others in your role based on the priorities of the business.
