Marketplace Integration Engineer

We have over 11 million users all over the world who have logged over 10 million catches in our app. We offer over 80,000 fishing, boating and outdoor products from over 350 brands on our marketplace. We’re growing fast, which is why we’re now looking for a Marketplace Integration Engineer to join our team.




What You'll Be Doing:
The Marketplace Integration Manager directly influences revenue by helping onboard new sellers to the platform. You have an understanding of all the necessary supporting functions and roles of eCommerce such as pricing, logistics, implementation and product development. Cross functional collaboration is critical to this role in ensuring the vision of all key stakeholders is achieved, while also driving the best possible customer experience. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, comfortable working in a dynamic & fast-paced environment and has an Omni-channel mindset.
This role is part of the marketing/commerce team and reports to the Director of Business Development. For this position we welcome remote applications, but note that the expected working hours will likely be 8am-4pm US Eastern time.




Responsibilities
Support sellers uploading their catalogues on the platform with different integration methods (APIs, CSV, XML), and mapping it with our taxonomy
Collaborate with Commerce, Marketing and Engineering teams
Train sellers on using the seller dashboard (advert management, inventory updates, etc.)
Be the first point of contact for sellers and brands in case of functional issues
Oversee the development of customer relationships through marketplace including returns, fulfilment and any other customer issues or feedback



Wish List
Fluent in English, written and spoken.
Preferably knowledge of different languages: PHP probably being the most common (others would be Python, .net, Java, server-side Javascript including node)
Experience of working with XML or Atom feeds would be beneficial
Excellent written and verbal negotiation skills – must be able to effectively hold external stakeholders accountable to deadlines while maintaining positive relationships
Ideal candidate behaviors: Detail oriented, effective time management, clear communication & passion for problem solving
Experience working with marketplace platforms is a plus
