We are looking for a Regional Account Manager - Mining Chemicals


We, at Surfactants Europe in Stenungsund, develop and markets flotation collectors for the mineral industry in Europe, Africa and parts of Asia.We are mainly active with products for the iron ore and industrial minerals industry.(for more info see http://www.mining-technology.com/contractors/chemicals/akzo/index.html)
We are in a phase of expanding our operations an we need to increase our team with a new member who is going to be responsible for sales and marketing for selected customers and business development in the Mining segment.The person we are looking for should have a solid background in mineral processing and be interested in developing both technical and business related projects.This is a permanent position based in Stenungsund and you must be interested to do some travel mainly in Europe.

Role / responsibilities
" Responsible for business development, marketing and sales for selected customers
" Establish short term business plans, setting up business strategies
" Responsible for negotiating contracts and prices, sales targets and sales budgets
" Responsible for technical service for selected customers
" To participate in laboratory, pilot - plant and full-scale tests

Desired Profile
" MSc, MBA with focus on Mineral Technology/Mineral Processing
" At least 5 years work experience from technical positions within the mineral industry
" Proven creative and customer focused
" Documented strong drive and willingness to get things done
" Experience in project management and business development preferred
" Strong communication and interpersonal skills
" Result orientated as well as analytical
" Good English language skills both written and verbal
