Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.We are looking for a skilled MDM Specialist with SAP expertise to join us on our exciting journey. We are currently undergoing significant transformations in our Production & Logistics (P&L) operations and the accompanying IT Solutions, as we embrace the opportunities brought by digitalization.

SAP will serve as the Industrial ERP backbone which will be a crucial component in our future IT landscape. All efforts are part of the NOVA (New Order to deliVery Architecture) Program, which receives high attention and expectations from Scania's top management.
As a MDM Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to support and implement the NOVA program and its MDM processes. You will develop and establish necessary master data processes and data governance to ensure the maintenance and quality of our master data, supporting our goal of having end-to-end transparency and data-driven decision-making. This includes driving or supporting in cleansing and/or harmonizing data from multiple source systems, laying the foundation for our future MDM landscape.
You will work with the data migration process (ETL) and data validation, securing the sign-off of migration activities and data quality.
You will work closely together with our Information Manager, playing an important role in establishing and maintaining effective MDM processes within P&L. Also, collaboration with both business and IT Solution/Software Architects, as well as our team of experts and project managers, will be vital. You will build a cross-functional network by engaging with other areas such as Purchasing and Finance to ensure alignment across Scania.
As a member of the VEIE group, you will actively participate in our department's development and improvement initiatives, contributing to our collective progress.
Your Profile
As a person you are a self-driven curious team player with a genuine interest in Master Data Management.
You have good knowledge and experience in Master Data Management together with Information Modelling to capture the business demands on IT solutions. You have a good level in facilitating meetings and you are structured, pedagogic and communicative.
To succeed in the role, you need social and analytic skills. You are used to take own initiatives to create and maintain structures.
We see that you have a Master of Science in Engineering, University degree in Information Science or corresponding knowledge. Working in the area between business and IT requires that you understand and can handle both perspectives.
Furthermore you have deep knowledge about SAP and understand SAP data objects definitions within Production and Logistics.
You are fluent in Swedish and English.
