Master Data Controller

Vattenfall is one of Europe`s largest electricity generators and producers of heat. We operate in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. Our strategy is to reduce emissions from power generation with a roadmap aiming at achieving climate neutrality by 2050.


Business Area Wind is responsible for Vattenfall’s Onshore and Offshore Wind as well as other non-hydro Renewable activities like PV/Solar. Today we develop, construct and operate wind generation in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. In addition, we have a clear strategy to develop our Solar operations further. We are now looking for a Master Data Controller within O&M Processes and Systems


Your responsibilities as Master Data Controller
The Master Data Controller needs to ensure that we have high quality and comparable master data for all our sites by upholding the requirements identified to support the Operations and Maintenance processes within the Business Area. You will safeguard quality through master data management, train end users, provide support for changes and upgrades.


Your main responsibilities is to;
• Support ongoing Operations and Maintenance processes with master data creation and change
• Collect, convert, quality assure, and upload new master data to SAP MM & PM
• Conduct master data trainings to support data gathering and for end users
• Maintain master data processes, templates, instructions and trainings
• Follow industry best practice on master data management and propose improvements
• Liaise closely with other supply chain, process and master data colleagues
• NB. This is a Business role with Business authorisations. There is no configuration aspect.


Your qualifications as Master Data Controller
To be qualified for this role you need a relevant university degree and a minimum of 3 years of working experience in a similar position. You have experience in SAP, MM and or PM modules, high proficiency in excel, MS Office and experience in master data implementation projects. You are fluent in English both verbal and in writing, Swedish language skills is beneficial. The ideal candidate has experience in training end users, wind industry knowledge is beneficial.


As a person you have good communication and intrapersonal skills. You are a team player who actively engages people. Structure and independency is important for this role as well as having the ability to simplify complexity yet are flexible enough to find the best ways forward.


Location: Stockholm, business trips to Vattenfall BA Wind locations in Europe are required.
