Sweden Operations is one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturing sites in the world. The site supply to 100 different countries and counts for ~35 % of the total volume of AstraZeneca's sales and has ~3500 employees. The site is also the primary launch within the AstraZeneca network and many of the products in AstraZeneca's exciting pipeline will be launched from Sweden Operations over the next coming years.
We are now searching for a Master Data Expert to join our Master Data Team. The team supports Sweden Operations' supply chain development with subject matter expertise in Master Data in SAP ECC. The role holder works in close collaboration with other Master Data Experts, Master Data users and the business to secure an adequate system and data setup and End-to-End thinking through the whole Supply Chain. This enables world class supply chain performance.
The role
The Master Data Expert (MDE) will act as a subject matter expert for Master Data, focusing on Sweden Operations SAP ECC (EUSAP) system. Other systems that share Master Data with SAP ECC are also in scope e.g. PAS-X, MDM and SAP SCM, primarily regarding their integration to EUSAP and sharing of Master Data.
The MDE has good business knowledge of EUSAP processes, system functionality and can combine this with their Master Data expertise to identify opportunities and solve problems and support the wider business. The MDE supports Sweden Operations at large, and in specific cases also other global functions and/or AZ sites. There are 3 key aspects to the role of a MDE:
Master Data-, System- and -Information Management Developing partnerships and collaborating across the organization Supply chain knowledge and understanding of business process
The MDE will bring all these features together to create powerful solutions that measure and improve data quality, data integrity and process performance.
The MDE works without direct supervision and with a large degree on independence. He/she has ability to work collaboratively with a wide network across the international business, and to be part of a team that delivers powerful results in-line with business objectives. The MDE provides specialist guidance and advice in areas of expertise through influence and business relationship management.
Essential Requirements
* Great understanding of ways of working in SAP ECC and how Master Data is used to be able understand and interpret customer needs and propose solutions.
* Experience of pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chain management.
* Fluency in Swedish and English is needed to be able to collaborate within the manufacturing site in Södertälje as well as with global functions within AstraZeneca.
* Good communication skills.
* A Master's Degree in Master data related field like Information Management or Engineering (Computers Science, etc.), or relevant and significant work experience.
* Project management, Relevant Data and IS/IT experience.
Desirable Requirements
* Knowledge of MDM & SAP SCM and/or Werum PAS-X.
* Experience of business process management (BPM)
