To be able to develop IKEA as an even more affordable, sustainable, and accessible home furnishing retailer in an omnichannel environment, we need to bring people, processes, data, and technology closer together.
IKEA Information Management (IM) department has the assignment to create value and enable business movements by providing knowledge and support to gain maximum business value from information across the IKEA value chain.
To establish and implement the framework, set the standard, methods, and policies for working with information by co-creating, together with our different businesses' clear governance, ways of working and methods for managing information.
As a Master Data specialist, you will support the organization in leveraging information and data. Your main assignment will be the food area that partly operates unique solutions with a big focus on reliable and compliant data across the value chain.
In this role, you will
Support the development and roll-out of Master Data Management (MDM) practices across a complex organization.
Work and communicate closely with colleagues, enabling them to work smarter and more efficiently with the help of MDM.
Support the creation and maintenance of an MDM network across IKEA.
Drive continuous improvement, collaboration and knowledge sharing of methodologies, tools, and materials across the IKEA MDM community.
Ensure consistency by supporting the use of relevant development techniques, digital frameworks, and best practices.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have
3+ years' experience within the Master Data field, especially in driving and expanding the use of modern Master Data practices, strategies, and technical tools.
Ability to make the benefits of effective MDM understood and embraced by both technical and non-technical co-workers.
Good understanding of business development from complex organizations.
Good communication, collaboration skills, networking skill, and building relationships across a complex organization.
It will be great if you also have
Relevant background in statistics, physics, mathematics, econometrics, computer science, or related.
