As Master Data Specialist (MDS), your main task is to ensure suppliers, articles and prices are set up correctly and continuously maintained in our business system SAP. MDS will, in collaboration with the Business Managers, Replenishment, and Sales Functions, be responsible for ensuring accurate article information considering Papyrus and Scaldia's need of information for a profitable sale.
The role is a support function where you become part of the Nordic Replenishment and Article administrations team and report to the Replenishment and Assortment Manager.
Examples of responsibilities:
Creating new articles
Updating and maintaining price and article information
Validation of article data
Management of price increases
Support to other departments
About you
To succeed in the role as MDS requires you to be analytical and thorough, have good computer skills in general, and very good knowledge of Excel and aptitude for numbers in particular. We´d like to see that you have worked in an ERP system equivalent to SAP before, even though it´s not a requirement.
As a person, you are structured, have good prioritization skills, and are comfortable running processes and working independently while looking at the big picture and the best interests of the business. As the work is varied and no day is the same, this role suits you who are flexible and likes when there is a lot going on around you.
Since the role of MDS covers all Nordic countries and involves many internal contact areas, it is a necessity that you have very good English skills both orally as well as in writing and have easy to interact with others.
Important for the service are:
Good administrative and analytical skills
Good English skills, both in writing and oral
Very good knowledge of Excel
Previous SAP expertise is a strong merit
Business acumen with a sense of business and profitability
