Master of Science, LIDAR expert

Airborne Hydrography develops and manufactures state of the art bathymetric and topographic airborne LIDAR survey systems. Due to the growth of our company and a planned international expansion we are now searching an additional technical expert to our research and development team. The work will primary be focussed on further development of our LIDAR systems, including optics design, laser technology, analogue and digital electronics design, real time operating systems, real time computers integration, water optics, algorithms development and user software development. You will work in close collaboration with our present technical experts within the field. The work also includes technical support services to our international customers for LIDAR survey systems, international collaboration within research projects, development and presentation of research papers to international conferences within the field of Airborne LIDAR. Required competences - Master of Science with top grades within applied physics, electronics and real time software. - Proven skills within practical development projects within electronics and software. - Fluent in English written and spoken. Further large international languages are qualifying. - Proven communicational skills. - Service minded - Experience within airborne LIDAR technology and especial bathymetric airborne LIDAR technology is very qualifying. The job is located at our head quarter in Jönköping, Sweden.
