The Logistics and Distribution team is now offering an opportunity for an analytic, well coordinated and communicative person to join us as a Master Planner to the factory in Stora Sundby, a key position in our daily Operations.
Are you our new Master Planner?
As a Master Planner, you will be in the center of events, collaborating with our manufacturing teams, Purchasing, Order administration and many more. You will be planning and scheduling the production of our Global Product Assortment at our manufacturing units (not just in Stora Sundby). You will administrate & control our forecast process in coordination with our Sales & Product management teams and be the interface between our supply chain and the production floor. In addition to this you will be actively involved in stock profile design and planning for our upcoming European Distribution Centre.
Your main area of responsibility will therefore be Production Master Scheduling (MRP/IPR) which is the key activity for Inventory Control & Replenishment.
In this role, you will be collecting and compiling forecast from our sales organization and Product management. (0-24 months). Further, you will highlight gaps in the supply-demand chain in order to reach accurate volume forecast and lowest possible obsolescence costs. You will also maintain Master Schedule & MRP/IPR, plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
Some examples of your tasks:
- Schedule & maintain EOL (End of life) Product plans
- Work close to Sales units to get prioritized customer orders in-to productions plans.
- Plan production through bottlenecks (internal & sub suppliers) - Constrains Planning & adjustments.
- Understand past and future assumptions, risks and opportunities.
- Understand and apply statistical models, depending on historical patterns and horizons.
- Report, analyze and deliver KPIs (e.g. Forecast Accuracy).
- Create & maintain forecast for Matured Assortment (High Runners)
- Administrate & carry through the PRB process (Assortment Control) quarterly
So, who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced Planner, who enjoys the fast-pace that a factory provides. Someone who enjoys analyzing problems, and sees the solutions. Communication is key, and you need to be fluent in both Swedish and English, comfortable in both written and spoken communication.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a production planning role (5+ years)
- Business system knowledge (A bonus if you are used to working in IFS)
- Strong MRP knowledge and experience in multi-level production planning
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong in problem analyzing and problem solving
- Good communication skills to be able to interface with stakeholders
