Are you planning to do your master thesis within machine learning, big data and statistics in Gothenburg during spring 2023? At Stena Line’s department for Trade management, we are all about using the latest technology to perform predictive analysis to have a huge impact on overall company revenue and resource allocations.

For this master thesis project, we have several options of potential topics and foci, including development of new deep neural networks and comparing them to our current models, setting up metrics for comparison and evaluating the effectiveness of different solutions, and developing new models and algorithms for predictive analysis, both when it comes to pricing and resource allocation. Who you are
We are looking for curious and energetic master students to help us delve deeper into our use of sophisticated machine learning models. You are most likely in your last year of a master program focused on machine learning, complex systems or mathematical modeling.

- Master student in relevant technical program
- Some knowledge in the techniques and tools used for basic implementation of machine learning models, such as Pycharm, Tensorflow, etc.
- Being able to clearly present and visualize results and coming up with your own ideas
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
