Job Description
As a material author, you will work closely with the 3D product support team. You will work with a small team of experts across multiple disciplines and help build our digital asset library by creating high quality textures, 3D models and material profiles for our product collections.
Responsibilities:
• Creating digital assets by producing photorealistic, high-quality, fabric textures and physical properties for product development models.
• Work with core and specialist fabrics to build a component library for product collections.
• Follow standard scanning and editing process consistently and checking details for accuracy.
• Actively seek feedback and suggest improvements where needed.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with all team disciplines and address questions, changes or clarifications.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
• Has 1-3 years of experience in 3D Surface and material creation. Experience from the fashion or textile industry is meriting.
• Skilled in Substance Suite, Blender, Photoshop and fabric scanning.
• Create seamless textures from scans using Photoshop and Substance Suite.
• Enjoys teamwork and have good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under reasonable deadlines.
• Must provide an online portfolio website or demo reel containing examples of procedural seamless and high-quality fabric textures, to be considered for this position.
Additional Information
This is a temporary/consultant position for 12 months. starting as As soon as possible and interviews will be held continuously.
