The Material Coordinator position is based in Uppsala within the Nordic Regional Spare Parts Management (SPM) department who are responsible for the Regional spare parts stock, ensuring all material requirements for the operational wind farms are met. The role will involve supporting the management of stock levels to meet demands and also monitoring stock movements so correct levels of stock are available at the service points and keeping the operational stock costs as low as possible. The Material Coordinator along with the regional SPM team will work closely with central stock management supporting the annual stock taking processes reporting the counts for all service points.

Key accountabilities
Order spare parts and maintenance material
Control stock levels in the Nordic region
Monitoring and supporting of material bookings process
Optimising of Transport costs
Manage safety stock levels in the service points
Support and coordinate during stock takings and audits
Ensure that spare parts are delivered to sites on time
Participation in relevant operations meetings when required
Organise material returns to Central Warehouse and external suppliers
Organising spare parts warranty claims towards suppliers
Supporting with Materials identification
Supporting After Sales process requests
Book and monitor outbound and inbound transports
One of the points of contact for Central Warehouse
Supporting operations to order tooling when necessary
Supporting with logistics and transport solutions
Transfer spare parts between service points in SAP
Ordering of workwear and PPE Equipment



Job requirements
Career / Job experience
Minimum 2 Years' experience as a Materials Coordinator/Planner or similar role
Experience with ERP system is an advantage


Education and qualification
Bachelor in supply chain, logistics or related field.
Driving Licence
Technical Knowledge (electrical or Mechanical) is an advantage
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Computer literate (strong on MS Office)

Excellent planning, organisational and prioritising skills
