Material Coordinator

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a material coordinator to join our passionate team in Västerås.
As a material coordinator, you will coordinate within the manufacturing organization, a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. You will plan and manage all consumable movements to serve the needs of Manufacturing organization and will be responsible for tracking finished product allocation and movements to serve internal customers without a miss.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Evaluation of short-, mid- and long-term supply needs, based on input from multiple stakeholders as well as manufacturing and logistical parameters,
Ensuring delivery of materials for optimal manufacturing runs and cooperation in production planning
Evaluation of short-term supply constraints and escalating issues appropriately
Confirmation of both internal and external customer orders, based on material availability and production plan
Support system implementation
Check status saldo
Coordinate with stakeholders

Education/Experience
A relevant university degree is a merit,
Minimum 3 years experience in Supply Chain Planning- Supply, Demand, Production, MRP, Inventory Management,
Successful track record of maintaining material availability while ramping-up a production line or alternatively in a prototyping environment

Specific Skills/Abilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to prepare and deliver concise understandable information to co-workers, suppliers, and other stakeholders,
Problem-solving, entrepreneurial attitude thriving in a dynamic environment where no day is like the other (we mean it!),
Self-motivated and finding it easy to establish new relationships,
Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel
Worked in multi-cultural environment (A MUST!).
