Materials Coordinator Assistant working student position is in the Nordic Regional Spare Parts Management (SPM) department will be responsible for the Regional spare parts stock, ensuring all material requirements for the operational wind farms are met. The Material Coordinator along with the regional SPM team will work closely with central stock management supporting the local team in field.
The work is a great opportunity to expand your network and get some great work experience within the wind-turbine industry. Addition to this you will learn how a larger global business is working and learn to use ERP (SAP) systems.
Key accountabilities
Order spare parts and maintenance material
Book and monitor outbound and inbound transports
Attend daily meetings with local service team within the region.
Monitoring and supporting of material bookings process.
Ensure that spare parts are delivered to sites on time.
Supporting with basic materials identification.
Supporting after sales process requests.
Be one of the points of contact for Central Warehouse.
Supporting with logistics and transport solutions.
Transfer spare parts between service points in SAP.
Career / Job experience
Experience as a Materials Coordinator/Planner or similar role is highly advantage, but not a requirement.
Experience with ERP (SAP) system is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Studies in university or similar.
Education and qualification
Preferably studies; supply chain, logistics or related.
Technical Knowledge (electrical or Mechanical) is an advantage.
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Computer literate (MS Office)
Personal profile
Able to deal with pressurised situations and tight deadlines
Takes ownership and responsibility
Willingness to learn and develop
Good communicator and strong interpersonal skills
Good planning, organisational and prioritising skills
Can work well in a team or autonomously
Health and safety aware
