Job Description

Your main responsibilities include:
Visionary work for the department towards set targets and strategies
You ensure the department’s customer focus and design some of our products and occasional capsule collections
Securing right current fashion, balance in the assortment and coordination of the department. It includes most garment groups
Constantly follow and act on new trends and seek new opportunities
You ensure that the visionary material indication is translated into material directions and collaborate closely with our Global R&D Manager. You secure right seasonal developments within our price segment, sustainably sourced, all aligned with our buying strategy & our sustainably material roadmap
You set the timeline, method and process for Component First together with Global R&D Manager and lead the internal process at our Buying Office towards the product. It includes much communication with production
The majority of the role is within the material coordinator part

To be successful in this role we also see that you:
Have at least three years certified fashion design education and experience working as a designer
Strong design vision and trend sensitivity for our customer (used to work with visionary fashion industry trends, themes and goals)
High level work capacity in Adobe Suite (primarily illustrator and Photoshop)
Combine a love of fashion retail and trends with a professional attitude and strong salesmanship
Have a sincere motivation working with a sustainable approach and mindset
Like to inspire others and have the skills of communicating your vision and product ideas
You have extensive fabric/material knowledge and eye for detail
Are comfortable working with clear deadlines and understand what it takes to meet them





Additional Information
