Do you have a passion for fabrics and strong knowledge in materials? Then you might be our new Material coordinator/responsible to H&M kids assortment! As a material coordinator/responsible you will work with materials for shoes at H&M Buying Office in Stockholm. To drive this work successfully you will work closely with the product team, supply chain and production.
To fit in this role, we believe you have a passion for fabrics and extended experience of the fabric process both from production and a design perspective. Furthermore, we believe you have strong technical knowledge and the ability to develop trend conscious fabrics at the best price.
Main responsibilities:
. Initiate developments and secure selection of commercial materials and components based on Assortment direction & Visual Goal, quality requirements and price level connected with production market strategy and Accessory assortment timeline.
. Responsible for the Material content in the kid's library in PO & the Black Room in BO. Continually update to ensure right selection of fabrics & components for the product teams season less/regardless of season.
. Responsible for the material & component process and timeline
. Evaluate the result of fabric research and selection together with the team and supply chain and drive actions based on this.
