Continuing to invest in our future, we are looking for a Material Developer, responsible for life-cycle management of our product materials within wound care. The open position is placed in the wound care R&D Materials and Packaging & Artwork Design team.
In this role you will support the development and implementation of new and/or improved materials for Mölnlycke products. You are driven, have an interest in various materials and a good understanding of material chemistry. You also have an interest in building both internal and external relationships.
This role is located at our Headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Key Accountabilities:
Responsible to ensure material documentation for assigned material(s) is up to date and compliant
Responsible for maintaining and developing knowledge of material within the assigned area.
Secure supply on existing materials by working with internal partners and material suppliers
Act as change lead for material related activities
Participation in development and change projects as Material Owner
Knowledge on Global Regulatory Requirements and standards related to medical device.
Qualifications and Experience:
Good communication skills
Fluent English, written and spoken
General business acumen
Experience within material development, product development or similar. Medical Device/Design Control experience is a merit as well as working in a PLM system.
Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, life science or equivalent
