Then a position as Material Engineer - Printing Inks could be your next job!
The position is located within Global Supply Chain Operations within the Base Materials group. We strive to continuously adapt and improve our base material supply chains (paperboard, polymers, aluminium foil and ink) around the world in cooperation with our suppliers, converting factories, development organisations & package platforms.
In this role you will become a recognized printing ink expert across the Tetra Pak network, supporting important stakeholders - both internal and external. Your base will be Lund, Sweden and you will travel about 40 days/year.
Main responsibilities
? Drive cost & quality improvement projects
? Approve new printing inks based on agreed technical requirements
- Support converting factories with printing ink competence globally
- Monitor printing & ink performance and drive corrective actions
- Translate system requirements to ink specifications
- Develop, maintain and close specifications gaps
Qualifications
You are an open person who likes to actively share knowledge with others. Building relations comes easy to you and you know how to balance listening with persuasion and helpfulness with firmness.
As a person you are analytical, thorough and well organised. You find it easy to create a structure and keep track on many parallel issues.
Your educational background is a university degree in chemistry, material science or similar. You have minimum 3 years experience within the printing or coating industry. Project management and lean manufacturing skills are a clear advantage.
