Material Planner

About the position
We are looking for a driven an analytical & detail-oriented Material Planner to join our Team, at our plant, in Ljungsarp.
As a material planner, your main goals are to plan, organize and monitor that materials are available for production and that the customer's delivery plans are fulfilled. Your responsibilities will be to manage customer orders for delivery to the right customer with the right volume at the right time, Furthermore, you have a responsibility to assure inventory accuracy of purchased parts, raw materials, and manufactured products.


Responsibilities
Your responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Register and update all delivery plans in the system
Follow up suppliers and KA customer deliveries with regard to delivery precision.
Prepares trucking requests and verifies shipment arrivals
Plans alternate sources for rework and parts shortages
Works directly with receiving, accounting, production, quality control, shipping, vendors
Follow-up on customer portals and score cards with regard to logistics and deliveries



Requirements
College education preferred with strong knowledge of End to End supply chain processes
3-5+ years prior experience in materials control, material planning and/or procurement.
Ability to work effectively with minimal management direction
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to organize and multi-task
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Swedish are required
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes
Strong MS office skills
ERP knowledge, preferably with SAP System
