We are searching for a Material planner to add to our growing planning department. You must want to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company. To succeed in this role, you have to be structured, with administrative knowledge and good Swedish and English skills in both speech and writing. At the same time, you need to be flexible, to handle the changes in our daily work. The planning department is critical to support the organization with components and material.
The material planner´s main responsibility is to create and handle purchase orders and call off material from our suppliers. The material planner is responsible for maintaining a steady pace for incoming material to our warehouses, monitoring our production plan and keeping a dialog with our suppliers.
Work tasks
Create and maintain purchase orders matching our production plan
Follow up and monitor manufacturing orders
Handle and control implementation of material changes
Manage and communicate changes with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Determine quantity and timing together with production planning
Measure and optimize stock levels of manufactured parts
Lead and participate in improvement projects and improving our processes.
Own and monitor set KPIs
Escalate deviations to plan
Requirements
Good English skills, both in speech and writing
Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures
Experience in Microsoft Office and ERP system, preferably Monitor
Solid judgement along with decision making skills
Capable in prioritizing under pressure
Team player
Structured and flexible
Experience from earlier work with a manufacturing business
Extra Qualifications (desirable but not necessary)
Proven working experience as Material planner

Normal working hours 40 h/week, some overtime occurs
