Material Planner

About the position
We are now looking for a committed and analytical Material Planner to our Logistics team in Mullsjö. As a material planner, your main goals are to plan, organize and monitor that materials are available for production and that the customer's delivery plans are met. Your areas of responsibility will be to administer supplier orders for delivery to KA Mullsjö, with the right volume at the right time. You will together with the Logistics Manager set measurable goals for the planning work and follow up on the suppliers' results. Furthermore, you have a responsibility for inventory value within your area as well as responsible for stock taking.


Responsibilities
Your responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Register and update all delivery plans in the SAP
Follow up on suppliers’ deliveries with regard to delivery precision.
Prepares transportation from suppliers for arrival in time.
Update planning parameters in SAP
Escalate suppliers when needed, in dialog with purchasing
Works close with production planning and also with receiving, accounting, production, quality control, shipping, vendors



Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Management/Logistics or related experience
3-5+ years prior experience in materials control, material planning and/or procurement.
Ability to work effectively with minimal management direction
Problem-solving skills, and ability to organize and multi-task
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Swedish are required
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes
Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
SAP experience is preferred
