Do you have a passion for paint, are an expert within Material Planning and would like to work in an international arena? Our Supply Chain Planning function at our site just outside Malmö are now looking for a new colleague!
What you will do?
Our Material Planning function are responsible for the purchasing of all Product Related materials with a wide range of materials from a global supplier base. The core purpose of this role is to execute the planning of raw materials and packaging materials, ensuring that the production plan can be executed. Through close contact with procurement and suppliers you ensure a solid supplier relationship and performance. This requires a high-level understanding of the trade-offs between service, inventory and costs, as well as comprehensive understanding of existing and future capacity plans at the manufacturing plant. The role also involves the following tasks:
• Creation of purchase orders and inform production planning on timelines
• Support the material controllers and the site with analyses when needed to create visibility
• Drive gate keeping meetings with the other departments and support with providing relevant KPI’s to measure performance
• Balance service level (OTIF) and inventory targets (OWC) of raw and pack materials
• Manage reduction and prevention of slow and obsolete stock (raw & pack)
• Ensure master data correctness & proper housekeeping of transactional data
• Support projects and process improvement to enhance performance and efficiency of the required material planning activities.
This position is on a full time basis, located on our site just outside Malmö. You will report to European Supply Planning Manager Manager for Wood coatings.

The following requirements are necessary for this role:
• Higher educational degree in Business, Logistics or equivalent, or at least a couple of years of experience from procurement, or experience within planning from a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Solid understanding of warehouse flows, stock principles and the ways in which these can be improved
• Financial understanding is an advantage, as is knowledge of SAP
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Fluent written and spoken English & Swedish, other languages would be advantageous
