An exciting opportunity opens within SCO Base Materials. Our primary area of responsibility is to develop an ecosystem of suppliers with capability to secure sustainable, competitive and qualified base materials that are delivered to our factories with consistent and customer focused quality level. SCO Base Materials is also supporting and contributing to Tetra Pak´s innovation of new base materials. This role will put you in contact with key internal and external stakeholders across different functional and international borders.
You will report to the Technology manager SCO Base Materials Paperboard.
You will be based in Lund.
What you will do
Support Tetra Pak´s development programs of sustainable packaging materials
Develop specification portfolio towards evolving customer quality, supply and cost demands
Assure suppliers’ compliance to specifications and push for quality improvement
Support the sourcing process, specifically industry analysis, supplier scouting, supplier on-boarding ensuring industrial scale-up capability and a secure and long-term base material supply chain.
Drive process improvements to ensure collaboration and sourcing approach stays agile, while making best use of external analysis providers.

Who you are
You have proven leadership and collaboration skills and the ability to manage internal and external relationships in a cooperative, diplomatic and successful manner. We also believe you deal successfully with ambiguity & continuous change in terms of work scope and challenges identified. You are an open person who actively shares knowledge with others. Building relations comes easy to you and you know how to balance listening with persuasion and helpfulness with firmness. You have great analytical skills and are organised which makes it easy for you to create structure and keep track of a multitude of competing priorities. You are a good communicator and excellent at both spoken and written English.
Your educational background is a relevant university degree at a Master’s level or above. You have solid knowledge about the paper and board manufacturing industry and related technologies. Experience from converting of papers and food packaging applications is a clear advantage, as well as experience in production and quality management, strategic account management and technology development.
