Would you like to enter a new role within Tetra Pak, Supply Chain Operations Additional Material Strips and Film, improving supplier quality to meet our customers’ requirements?
What you will do
In this role you will be part of a group of engineers and drive continuous improvement activities within Quality in our Strips and Film Factory in Fjällbacka.
Your focus will be to assure our quality performance level of our products when it comes to our production processes within film lamination and blown film extrusion and also work closely with our Base Material organization and Base Material Suppliers. You will work on improving supplier accuracy and will also monitor quality of specifications to our suppliers.
You will focus on:
Assure quality performance level of our Base Material suppliers
Supply Chain Quality Control maintenance
Prevent and eradicate Supplier failures
Coordinate efficient engineering changes across Tetra Pak supply chain
Conduct and drive supplier audits and improvements
Implement statistical metrics
This position is permanent and will be based in Fjällbacka (Sweden) but you will work in a global arena. You will travel around 10% of your time.
Who you are
To be successful in this role, you have an Engineering degree, preferably in Chemistry, mechanical, automation, industrial or process engineering, with strong technical understanding of raw materials. Experience within supplier quality and/or development in manufacturing industry or similar on process engineering / project management in food industry is appreciated.
We believe that you have a background and a big interest in quality systems and continuous improvement programs as WCM (World Class Manufacturing) and Six Sigma.
Preferably, you have previous experience from a large multinational company. You are an advanced user of MS Office 365 collaboration tools, Power BI, SAP environment, Statistical tools such as Minitab and normal quality control tools.
As a person, you are action-driven with a high level of commitment. You have demonstrated excellent communication and influencing skills and have a proven ability to manage internal and external relationships in a cooperative, diplomatic and successful manner. You have a strong drive for results and very efficient abilities on Problem Solving situations and challenges.
Your English skills are excellent, written as well as spoken.
