MD to leading supplier of logistics solutions

Our customer is a worldwide leading supplier of automated logistics solutions for Warehousing, Production, Order picking and Distribution with more then more than 1100 employees world wide.The company has more than 40 years experience as a logistics solutions provider and integrator of automated systems to a wide range of industries ranging from the food and beverage market, retail, apparel and fashion, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), manufacturing, pharmaceutical, distribution and e-commerce to archives and the automotive industry The company has a current need to recruit a Managing Director for the Nordic countries Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.The objective is to build an organisation for this region with one office either in Sweden, Norway or Denmark.The MD will be responsible for sales and driving the business, recruiting the right team and setting up an acquisition program.The organization in the Nordic will start with a small team initially working with smaller projects to finance the startup costs and focus on acquisition during this initial period.Within a couple of years the organizations should have grown with local project managers, site managers, run-up support team, service team and management of local suppliers. You are a technical engineering in mecatronics or software or equivalent.Additional financial education is an advantage.Furthermore you have minimum ten years experience from the logistic sector, experience from the material handling industry and documented sales experience.The MD must be very sales and market oriented with strong entrepreneurial skills able to create the set-up of market, building the starting team and actively developing business.
