MDM Global Data Coordinator
The Group IT unit provides strategic IT support to the SKF organization by developing sound strategies and managing selected service providers. We have presence in the Americas, Europe and Asia. We have a strong ambition to add to the local and global teams by inviting qualified and motivated self-starters to be a part of the team.
We are currently looking for a MDM Global Data Coordinator to our team.
Key responsibilities
Operational Master Data Management:
• To act on approved Master Data quality initiatives in collaboration with content owners to improve data quality
• To have a good understanding of the impact of Master Data objects; including attributes, in business processes
• To safeguard data quality by process and work instruction adherence
• To execute Master Data processes according to agreed SLA:s
• To maintain Master Data records; to perform CRUD operations, with speed throughout the entire Master Data lifecycle
• To enrich Master Data records with local/global data
• To Approve and release the data for use in business processes
Standardize, simplify and streamline (LEAN):
• To capture and channel process and system improvements
• To collaborate/support with business processes (as Subject Matter Expert) and system implementations (as Subject Matter Expert, System Tester etc.)
• To execute MDM training
• To participate and support in Master Data related projects
• To proactively share knowledge and increase awareness of MDM concepts in the business
• To safeguard adherence to the MDM Policy and MDM Group Instructions in SKF
Master Data performance management:
• To ensure high Master Data performance and data quality, in collaboration with central MDM team and content owners (business), according to MDM performance management framework
• To follow up Master Data KPI:s, to be responsible for the result, to correct data and/or take actions to achieve expected output
• To perform audits
• To manage data cleansing activities
Job Requirements
• 3-5 years' experience in business processes, to better understand the importance of master data
• Fluent in English, read & write, is a prerequisite
• Experience of major ERP, e.g. SAP, 3M, is an advantage
• Operational master data maintenance experience is an advantage
• Experience in managing and delivering training is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Excel (Pivot-tables etc.) is an advantage
• Since you will work in a Swedish team, it is an advantage to be able to speak and write in Swedish

• Service mindset to interact with business stakeholders
• Likes to work in and further develop a process and workflow driven role with clear targets
• High level of commitment and structure for the sake of good data quality
• Good communication skills
Additional information
The position is based in Gothenburg on a local contract and reports to Manager Regional team EMEA.
