We now have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer (MDE) to join this companys journey, with a focus on physical development of home electronics and IoT products. You are going to support the development teams with projects and your main focus will be to contribute to deliver support within new development with the mechanical design related to product requirements. As a MDE you will play a key role in contributing to better and safer products with the aim to enhance customer satisfaction. You will work close with suppliers, who are creating the first draft of the design.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
Furthermore, you will:


* Identify and manage technical risks during the development
* Secure that all mechanical requirements (legal as functional) are covered by the product design
* Develop, document and maintain the digital 3D models and 2D drawings with all relevant dimensions and tolerances according to CAD Standards
* Perform basic Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) analysis such as static Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and optimization including acting as an interface towards simulation engineers
* Technical documentation (such as drawings, fitting lists, assembly instructions, etc.)


VI SÖKER DIG SOM
- You have a university degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- You have a good competence related to 3D CAD engineering, and a strong commitment to deliver excellent solutions based on the end customer’s needs
- You have a good understand of the design language (as to be considered as a pro) and have experience from working with product development using different kinds of materials and production methods
- you have good understanding of FEM analysis and basic structural dimensioning and knowledge of SolidWorks
- You are fluent in both spoken and written English
