Your role:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll work on the most exciting yet challenging projects in our industry. The rigorous requirements for our products highlight the importance of collaboration between electronics, mechanics, verification, and testing. You'll collaborate with competent colleagues in the mechanical team, aiming to truly make a difference for our customers. Our organization is flat and straightforward in an industry where progress is rapidly advancing.

Responsibilities:

- Drive innovation by presenting your creative ideas and solutions

- Engage in the entire product cycle, from concept and design to industrialization, production, maintenance, and quality matters

- Test of early prototypes in our mechanical lab, equipped for various types of mechanical testing such as vibration tests, temperature cycling, and humidity tests

- Work closely with other project members in electronics, environmental testing, software, and systems to deliver quality products on time

- This role has a wide range of responsibilities including project management, purchasing, supplier communication, and occasional visits to our manufacturing facilities in Europe

Key qualifications:

At CPAC we recruit personalities; additionally, we seek candidates who hold a university degree in mechanical engineering/product development. Furthermore we are looking for candidates with some years of experience in:

- Tool-bound design of plastic and aluminum components

- Development of production fixtures and test equipment

- CREO/PDMLink or similar 3D tools

- Windchill or similiar PLM software

- Simulation in CREO Simulate or Ansys

- Accustomed to working in Swedish and English
