You will be part of a diverse R&D group consisting of highly skilled engineers who are responsible for designing large steel structures, heavy lifting equipment, embedded steel & foundation loads & customer documentation. This group is part of the department Auxiliary Systems of the Gas Turbine.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will develop for example the large steel structure that are the base of the whole Gas Turbine Package, from start to finish and document the design solutions within a development program. This is an area with many interfaces, both internal and external, which means a lot of interaction with other disciplines.

You will also work with improvement of existing products and support other functions like Order Engineering, Service and Manufacturing. Siemens NX and Teamcenter will be the tools you use in your daily work.

Your multi-disciplinary collaborations will include other R&D disciplines but also other groups within the R&D auxiliary department, Procurement, Order Engineering, sub suppliers.

On top of that, as part of a global organization, you will have the opportunity to build a network that expands across the world, from Europe to North America and Asia.

* MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge or experience.

* A well-driven person with a problem-solving mindset.
* A person that can work in a team and make it more effective & efficient.
* Experience with Siemens NX and design in general is highly recommended.
* Good English language skills are required. Swedish language skills are meritorious.
