Designing and developing cable accessories and maintaining products
As Mechanical Design Engineer in the Accessories Engineering department here at NKT, you will be working on developing the technical solutions required by internal clients. Designing and developing cable accessories, maintaining products within the portfolio as well as the continued work to improve and enhance launched products.

Additionally, you will be creating the technical documentation for procurement, manufacturing, testing and selling the cable accessories. Documentation includes technical reports, drawings and instructions.
The engineering team has you as a key source of support in technical tender preparation and project execution, as well as for various R&D projects.
As Mechanical Design Engineer, you are also a significant asset to Installation & Service in aftermarket projects.

In order to succeed and prosper in the role as Mechanical Design Engineer at NKT, you need to have a disciplined and meticulous approach to your work. You create structure around you and find the best way to apply this to the various project types you will be working on.

- For this position, your CV should include:
- A B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. If you have knowledge in electrical engineering as well, that is meritorious.
- Some years of experience of CAD
- Experience in working in systems such as SAP and Windchill is ideal. Project based work experience is well received.
- Your technical English is fluent in both written and spoken form, a requirement for the role. Speaking and writing in Swedish. The German language is a bonus.
