LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU

Your profile 
* MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge or experience.
* A well-driven person with a problem-solving mindset.
* A person that can work in a team and make it more effective & efficient.
* Experience from working with 3D-CAD modelling.
* Experience from working as Mechanical Design Engineer is highly meritorious.
* Good English language skills are required. Swedish language skills are meritorious.

Your responsibilities

You will be part of a diverse R&D group consisting of highly skilled engineers who are responsible for:

(i)  designing new gas turbine engines, (ii)  driving improvements for existing products and (iii) providing design support our Service business for the growing installed fleet .

As a designer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design of robust, reliable and highly efficient core components of the gas turbine engine.

You will develop new gas turbine components from start to finish and document these design solutions within a development program.

Your multi-disciplinary collaboration partners within R&D will include Aerodynamics, Solid mechanics, Blade & Rotor Dynamics and Materials.  You will also work with improvement of existing products, support other functions like Procurement and Manufacturing, both internal and external.  Siemens NX, Teamcenter and SAP will be the tools you use in your daily work.
