This is a recruitment to SHL Healthcare in Nacka/Stockholm.

Welcome to apply for an exciting Mechanical Design position at a successful Medical Device company. SHL Healthcare headquarters is beautifully located in Nacka and has its production in Shenzhen, China.

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will primarily work in early design phases, taking early user needs into product solutions by close collaboration with both internal and external customers.
We are looking for you who have previous experience from design of mechanically advanced devices and preferably familiar with medical products and regulatory requirements.

In Stockholm you have your closest colleagues, other employees are currently in China. When the opportunity arises, you will gladly go there and collaborate on site with your fellow engineers.

The office in Nacka is characterized by niceness, openness, joy, curiosity, a familiar atmosphere and not least a team with great competence in their product area.

Your background
The successful candidate has relevant academic education and preferably up to 10 years of experience as a designer.

You have advantageously designed high-tech compressors, valves, sensors towards medical devices.

Your success relies strongly on your ability to understand medical systems and regulatory requirements. You have solid experience of the tools that SHL provides, such as Solidworks and PDM and use your knowledge to analyze and develop new products and interesting engineering solutions.

You as a person
The person we are looking for needs to like both people and technology. You are businesslike, structured, trustworthy and communicative.
