Mechanical Design Engineer to ALTEN Stockholm

ALTEN IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER FOR AN EXCITING ASSIGNMENT AT ONE OF OUR BIGGEST CLIENTS IN STOCKHOLM!

Do you have work-experience as a mechanical designer and want to take the next step in your career? Does a role as a consultant appeal to you? If so, you might be the one we are looking for.

Lastly, we want someone who is genuinely interested in technology!

For this assignment we believe that you have a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with at least two years of professional experience. Furthermore, you are proficient in one of the following CAD tools: PTC Creo/ProEngineer, CATIA V5, SolidWorks, SolidEdg, Inventor- or AutoCAD.

Your responsibilities will consist of: 

- Design and development of products from concept to production

- Customer satisfaction in terms of performance (design to requirements)

- Development of project plans and delivery within agreed plans and timelines

Thus, you must demonstrate ability or experience in:

- Problem solving techniques and methodical approaches

- Operating with a high volume manufacturing environment

- Tooling and molding- ability to identify and suggest part improvements
